A trip down memory lane …
Looking back on our old brochures really shows us how the number of services we offer has grown in the last 50 years.
We now have experienced teams of geotechnical & environmental engineers, surveyors, architects, and of course our outstanding civil & structural engineers.
7 years ago our Northampton office changed for the better when Deanne and Aidan accepted job offers from us!
Congratulations to Deanne, our Head of Business Operations and Aidan, Engineer with our structures team on your work anniversary.
Congratulations to Director, Lydia Crawford who has lead our geotechnical & environmental team for 5 years.
Lydia has worked hard over the last 5 years to grow this sector of our business and we are proud to say that her team are busier than ever.
Well done Lydia on all you have achieved with your fantastic engineers.
A trip down memory lane ….
The original practice known then as John Parkhouse and Partners was formed on the 1st December 1973.
John Parkhouse, former office manager at the Northampton office of London based Consultants ‘BMMK and Partners’, was joined by Greg Keevil and Bob Glass.
Congratulations to Clare Johnson (Finance), Nathan Reed (Development Planning) and Mitchell Ormshaw (Civils) who celebrated one year with JPP last month!
As always, we are so grateful for the hard work and commitment you show to our company.
Brilliant opportunity last month for 3 of our engineers (Structural, Civil and Geotechnical) to ‘walk the site’ at Standard Hill in Coalville with the main project team at Lovell.
Being able to discuss key design points, attend training and gain a better understanding was invaluable.
Congratulations Mark Turbutt on 20 years at JPP.
Mark joined as a Junior Technician in 2002 and has steadily worked his way through the ranks.
He is now a Director leading our Structural Engineering team in Northampton.
Congratulations to Luke Clarke on 6 years at JPP.
Luke joined JPP in 2016 as a Senior Engineer to lead the Infrastructure Design team in Milton Keynes. He is now an Associate Director and leads the office.
Thank you to both of you for your hard work and we look forward to seeing all you achieve in the future.
Our JPP geotechnical team assisted the structural engineers on the prestigious residential project for William Davis Homes in Houlton and carried out a parcel-specific supplementary ground investigation to allow the refinement of plot foundations to shallower depths.
This additional ground investigation reduced the depth of all foundations across the site by 350mm and the geotechnical team were also able to recalculate an increase in the bearing capacity provided for the site giving the client a large cost saving for the foundations.
Congratulations to Peter Mason who has accepted the position of Director of JPP Geotechnical & Environmental.
Peter’s contribution to our Geotechnical and Environmental team has been outstanding and this promotion is very well deserved.
We are delighted to share that Harry Smith is now a Senior Engineer at JPP.
Harry makes an outstanding contribution to all areas of work life at JPP. Not only is he a fantastic engineer but he is also a superb support to others and we are lucky he is on our team.
Congratulations Harry!
