We strive to exceed our client’s expectations and improve the design process on all projects by offering a unique integrated surveying service. Investment in the latest technologies, including laser scanning, robotic and GPS instrumentation, ensure we deliver efficient and accurate survey information.
Providing topographic and measured building surveys our dedicated & professional team utilise our laser scanning; robotic total stations; GNSS and UAV equipment to provide the best solution to your surveying requirements. Assignments cover domestic; commercial and industrial properties ranging in size from single house plots to 100Ha+ developments. We pride ourselves on providing a speedy and efficient response to our customers’ requests.
Quality and safety is at the forefront of our business being accredited to ISO 9001/ISO 14001/ISO 45001 as well as being a SMAS Worksafe Contractor.
Topographical Surveys
Topographic. adj ‘’the accurate representation of the physical features of an area’’ Assignments vary in size from individual domestic plots to large commercial and residential developments. Generally aligned to O.S. National Grid the resulting survey can be provided in a variety of CAD formats compatible with 3D modelling packages (i.e. LSS, REVIT, Civil 3D and PDS).
Measured Building Surveys
Supplied as floor plans, elevations and cross sections a measured building survey provides a digital representation of the structural and architectural elements of a property. Laser scanning technology is now an integral part of the survey delivering high density point cloud information to enable the creation of complex 3D models esp for BIM purposes.
Engineering Surveys
We have extensive experience of engineering setting out particularly bulk earthworks and remediation schemes as well as highways, drainage and structures. Following a topographic survey, the resulting digital terrain model (DTM) can be used in extensive volumetric calculations (void usage, cut/fill, stockpile analysis) and a base for landform designs such as screening mounds/sports pitches/golf courses/fishing & boating lakes etc
Utility & CCTV Drainage Surveys
JPP can provide utility drainage surveys using a combination of the latest electromagnetic detection and Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) equipment. The resulting information will be presented in a CAD format consistent with project requirements. We are also able to carry out desk top utility surveys which will identify all Statutory Undertaker’s apparatus that is present on site collated into a single report.
We are also able to undertake CCTV drainage surveys to determine sewer locations, depths, pipe sizes and condition. The data can also be incorporated into the topographical survey to provide a comprehensive representation of above & below ground features.
